We were tasked with the brand identity design of a dermatology clinic. The client wanted the logo to reflect the concept of Ebony, the brief also mentioned a muted palette that could resonate with the medical world. During our sketching and research process, we found a few correlations between the skin layers and different layers of wood, we then produced different iterations of how a wooden skin cell would feel like. For the color palette and the visual identity, we suggested a bold approach to use flat illustrations of face silhouettes; intentionally blurring the lines between, clinical and skin care.
